Lynsey Hurst – Managing Director
I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies , Foundation Degree in Leadership and Management, as well as the NNEB qualification and NVQ level 4 in Early Years Childcare and Education. I have worked within childcare for the past 21 years, based locally at the Children's Centre, where I co-ordinated the day care provision on a day to day basis, as well as ensuring all aspects of the EYFS were adhered to and maintained. I have experience of supporting children who have additional needs within my role as SENCO, working closely with multi-agency teams and local schools. I have extensive knowledge and experience in Safeguarding and am the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for all our settings in conjunction with the setting manager’s. I am a trained facilitator for the Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities parenting course, as well as PEEPS (Parent Early Education Partnership) and ELDP (Early Language Development Programme) all of which I use within my work with children and families. I am a Local Authority Governor at 2 schools based in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Adam Hindhaugh- Director
I have a BA degree in Professional Studies in Education, gained at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2003. I gained Qualified Teacher Status in 2004 where I worked as a Year 3 class teacher for 5 and half years. I then became Education Manager at a Children's Centre in Biddulph in January 2010 and left in May 2013. I completed the National Professional Qualification in Integrated Centre Leadership (NPQICL) in 2011 as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. During my time there, I was responsible for the 84 place registered provision for children 0-5 as well as the before and after School Club for children 5-11. I am currently employed as an Early Years Performance Manager for a Local Authority. I am a Governor at a school based in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
